Brant Brooks

Brant Brooks is a Portfolio Manager at Poet Hill. Mr. Brooks has over 30 years of experience in fixed income asset management, asset securitization, consumer finance, real estate, auto lending and principal finance transactions. Mr. Brooks is concurrently working at DSC Advisors, LP, focusing on one of its related portfolio companies, Approve Lending, a technology-enhanced lender in the auto refinance space. Prior to that, Mr. Brooks was a founding partner and co-chief investment officer at Good Hill Partners, a fixed income asset manager focused on structured products. Prior to Good Hill, Mr. Brooks was a Senior Managing Director and head of the Asset-Backed Securities banking group at Bear Stearns. He joined the Bear Stearns ABS group in 1996 to focus on multiple asset classes including auto loans and leases, dealer floorplan, HELOCs, credit card receivables, student loans, and trade receivables. Mr. Brooks received his B.A. in Economics from Emory University in 1988 and his J.D. and M.B.A with honors from Boston University in 1992. He is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and Connecticut.
